A dog day and a new noodle.

It has been great to sit around and do nothing. Things around here move slow. Today we spent the day getting Charlie a new haircut. This process took most of the day. We got up this morning and took Charlie to get his "Fluff and Puff". Up Bell road and a right on Grand. Dropped him off and went to breakfast. The same spot I reported on a couple days ago. Two Eggs, Hash Browns and Bacon $3.49. Still can't beat the price. A hairy dog before "Fluff and Puff'

After we got back, without dog, we went for a walk, or should I say a journey. We walked to NC2 and back. It was sort of my fault as I took a lot of side trips. More about NC2 in a bit. Anyway we got back to the home pad and waited for the call to rescue the dog. Picked him up about 1PM. He is so handsome with his new SHORT dew.

After all the business of the morning. I went shopping. Needed to stock up on some stuff for the track. We move from here on Thursday morning for a few days at the races. While I was out I picked up our own personal noodles. You know those things that you float on in the pool. We needed these so we could join the bobbers in NC2 at 3 in the afternoon. NC2 has a group of people who show up at about 3 and just sort of float on their noodles and chat. The thing around here is there are the walker and the bobbers. The walkers walk back and forth across the pool and talk. The bobbers just sort of float and chat. What ever you name the event, it is just a bunch of folks soaking in the pool and talking. Kind of friendly.
At any rate we bobbed and came back for dinner. After a bit of a flutter next door at Jeanne's place we came home and had a really good dinner. Now we are just sitting here looking at the Biggest Looser. Charlie is still being a really good dog and just hanging around the patio, He hasn't been on a leash in a long time. He also still holds his place as the guard dog.

Tomorrow we get ready to head for the races. We go out Thursday at about 9AM. Guess what blog posts will be about for the next few days. NASCAR Sue and I are ready are you.
