Auction Night

It was the annual "Starry Starry Night for Hearing & Sight" live auction put on by the University Lions Foundation. This is the 5th year I have gone and it must be Sue's 20th or so. Steves friend Kermit Alskog and His lovely wife Margret are our hosts. This is quite a night. They have lots and lots of items. They have silent auctions on 5 tables and a live auction with the big stuff. While you wander around the silent tables they serve champagne. Dinner is Salmon or Filet Mignon. Not to mention wine with the dinner and after. They have some of the University of Washington Cheer leaders selling keys to a treasure chest. All in all it's quite an evening. Thank you Kermit and Margret for inviting us again this year.

There were 8 of us this year Kermit and Margret, Steve and Mad, Peg and Ted and us. I didn't bring my camera so I had to steal Mads. I stole the card out of it and brought it home.

And lots of people
While getting the pictures from Mads camera card I ran across this warning for the rug eating dog. Look at this nice cat. This must be Elles cat in California. Charlie should see how nice and comfy that a cat is. I'll bet the cat does not eat rugs. He looks too nice to claw anything so we won't go there. Watch out Charlie !!

Easter and the Yo-Yo Man

It was the annual Easter Holiday. We got to get the whole family together. I think it's been the first time we have had the whole bunch. Seems like somebody always has to work or something. Anyway, Jeff got here in the morning and we went to breakfast. After that we came back and watched the Masters. It was the Phil and Tiger show for a while until the faded. Then the network started to cover the leaders. Everybody else go here about 4PM.

and a dog

We cooked a Ham with all the trimmings. Every body got their fill. The desert was Key Lime cheese cake. Good. After dinner it became Yo-Yo time. Tony, Jeanne and I use to always be on the search for the perfect Yo-Yo. I have the collection. So we all got down and Yoed. We can still do some of our tricks.

A good time was had by all. I haven't had much to post the last couple weeks, so things have been slow. I finally got my first Social Security Check. That was n ice. Now if I could just convince Sue that Arizona would make a nice home. (Good luck Joe) Golf has not been good. Of course neither has the weather. We are all looking forward to the wedding next month in Canon Beach. Tony and Kristy are getting excited. I'll have lots to post on that one. We will be staying at the Canon Beach RV Resort. That's the place we got trapped in with the bad winds a year and half ago. So, bye for now. Say good by Charlie.
