Weekend in Walla Walla

Thought I would post a bit on the blog so everybody knows were are still around. So here goes. We just spent a nice weekend in Walla Walla playing golf in a Chapman Couples tournament at the Walla Walla Golf and Country Club. This is the fourth time we have played this tournament. Besides us there were Ken and Elaine Bailey, Marc and Deanne Olds, and Darrell Hunt and Maureen McFadden (They use to be at Twin Lakes) We stayed in Snuffy at the RV Resort Four Season again. Very nice place with all the hookups. As usual we commuted to the golf course in our golf cart. Passed a cop this year and he didn't pull me over.

We did well it turns out. We had a 64 net on Saturday with a 71 on Sunday. The weather Sunday was bad. Even bad by Seattle standards. 50 degrees wind and rain. The whole field did bad which saved us. We ended up with a second low net in our division. Ken and Elaine got 1st Gross. Didn't see what the others had. Also we made the Saturday paper in Walla Walla. The Walla Walla Union Bulletin Darrel and Mo are in there too. All in all it was a good weekend. Next up is Longview in about 3 weeks.

Hasn't been much blog stuff lately. Going to Walla Walla this weekend for a golf tournament. Post a little of that next week.
