Happy Trails to you

We are now at Happy Trails. We really had a fun night at the Riverside with "Riders in the Sky" They are an old group. Just pure country. No to mention that they have a lot of comedy in their act. Their show lasted about and hour and a half. We had great seats about 10 feet from the stage. A very nice gentleman named Al was sitting across from us. He use to have property in Mill Creek and now lives in eastern Washington above Spokane. His wife wasn’t feel well so he was there by himself. He said he was just walking around down. He was very fun to talk to. He thanked us for helping him have a fun evening. He is in the picture below.

Before we left the motor home we put on Charlie’s bandanna for Halloween. It has ghost and goblins on it. He got it when he got his last fluff and puff. He had to stay home and protect Snuffy. All dogs need a job. That is his.

Here are a few pictures of the guys in the band. Ranger Doug is the guitar guy, Too Slim is the bass player, Woody Paul is the fiddle player and Joey "The Cowpolka King is the accordion.

We got they guys to give us a little boot. This was Sues idea. Actually it was for Steve. He likes boots. How about these boots Steve.

We left Laughlin about 10AM and drove thru Kingman. I figured we had enough fuel to make it to Surprise but saw a Loves truck stop that said $2.99. When I turned on the pump it said $2.91. Gosh it is sure nice that the prices have comedown. Our trip was uneventful. The dash air fan even didn’t blow the breaker again. Hope that stays that way. We took a picture of what we call finger rock as we climbed the hill out of Laughlin. But the picture didn't turn out.

We arrived at Happy Trails about 3 PM. It was sort of like getting home. This is our third year here and we know a lot of the folks that live here. WE sat across the street lat evenig and visited with Bill and Judy our landlord and Carl and Freddie who live across the street. Everyone is very friendly. I rode my bike up to get a news paper this morning, then we went out to breakfast at a place we found before. We are going over to Richard and Susan’s house this after noon for dinner. Richard is my friend from Seattle. Old boat salesman with the same birthday as me. Will most likely get together with Virginia Hessler ( Our friend from ASGA days) tomorrow. Other than that we don’t really have any plans.
