Another day at Happy Trails

Yesterday we meant our friends for Maui. Larry and Jane Ness. They really live in Issaquah, but for some reason we only seem then when they are out of state. They have been down here for about a month with another couple that lives at Trilogy , in Issaquah, as well. They are buying a place down here. We had lunch at one of the Pebble Creek golf course clubhouses. The course is Tuscany. Very good food and very reasonable.

After that we came back to Happy Trails and went to the pool. We got home and had diner and sort of crashed. Everything is an hour earlier down her so the news is on at 10PM. By that time we are ready to crash.

Today we went looking at model houses and such. Looked at all the models at Arizona Tradition's which is next door. We liked the Saguaro model. They want 222k plus options up to 258k, but if you want to buy the spec model its 195k. Things are really depressed down here. The Coronado was also kind of nice. They have a one ready to go for 193k. Driving around we found a Coronado model for 278k with a pool. It's sort of interesting what is available down here. The one with the pool has a home owner fee of $107/month and taxes of $1,636/year. With the really bad marked I'll bet they would take a lot less. It's a lot to think about, except Sue says I have to work until I'm 83. :)

We are sitting here tonight waiting for Desperate House Wives and Brother and Sisters. Sue is cooking. We are having Kent and Carolyn Nelson over fore dinner after golf tomorrow night. She is making potato salad. Charlie is driving me nuts. He wants to play all the time. I should send him down the street to play with putter. So long for now. Thanks for the comments from Monica and Steve Cox from Twin Lakes. Never know who really reads this stuff. Oh by the way Gary came back and we have good internet again. Yea !!!!!!!!!!

Yer welcome for the comments. Even my grumpy ones! haha! You both look so happy and tan.

If you buy a place down there, I would have to get on an airplane. Joe, if you play that card mom might let you retire at 82 1/2, just maybe.

We had a heat wave today. 64 when I came home from work today. I actually opened the french doors, the cat and dog were very confused! Luckily I didn't notice the bird Oreo killed until later.

Keep up the blogging. Love to decipher what Joe is trying to communicate! hee hee

Love ya,
Monica
