A fun weekend

Another golfing weekend is past. Meadow Springs is a great place to play ad the members we have meant are really a nice bunch of folks. Saturday we played well but self destructed in the last 5 holes. We went from 6 under to 3 under. (#^#&%&$%@$&%&$#). We were lucky as a lot of the scores were high. We had Net 69 which put us in the top 10 of 37 players.
Sunday was another beautiful day with the temps around 85. We played with another couple from Meadow Springs. We did better and shot a net 65, which was enough to get a tie for 3rd net in our division. I guess this makes us 3 for 3 this year.

Amy and Jerry

Not that I want to rub in in, but we bet Baileys 5, 5, and 5. $5 for the first day, $5 for the second day and $5 overal. That's a total of $15 bucks if you win it all. I really wanted to stop at the store and get them a sympathise card as they had a bad weekend. Ken was a bit upset that they had to give us 7 strokes each day. (I'm the Twin Lakes Sandbagged now since the Club Championship), but as I said they had a bad weekend. Thanks for the money Ken. You can get it back next time. :) :) :)

They really do it up good here. Last nights dinner was ummie. They have a guy who sings and does a great show, specially for the folks from the 50s and 60s. The theme was Beach Party. Look at this really cool couple.

After golf they had everything set up for lunch a a bunch of drawings, awards and all that sort of stuff. We won 1st team Saturday and 2nd team today. Tie for third in our division Net. Dan and Mary Gleason sored good in 1st division as did All and Joanne Schriber (past Twin Lakers) won low net. Twin Lakes showed up well.

Back at the homestead we watched Tiger lose. We then sat in the shad of the awning and visited with Ken & Elaine. We talked about the tournament and I tried not to dissect every hole. We did talk a lot about dogs.
As with all event, Every thing must move on. Tomorrow we will move to Hyden Island in Portland where I have a bit of a job. (Ugg Work) Then we will be home Tuesday. As you can see Charlie has a lot of sympathy. Ha..Ha...
